About the Course

Biological sciences form the basis of many new areas of science and technology. They are the foundation of our understanding of a diverse range of subjects – from evolution, genetics and diversity to medicine, drug and human development.On this course, you can choose to study human, medical or genetics and molecular biology.You’ll graduate with the knowledge and practical skills you need to boost your employability, helping you stand out when seeking work. Practical studies will include a laboratory and/or field-based project, a data project or a systematic review. This might take place in a laboratory or an organisation outside the University.


Human Biology pathway

Are you fascinated by the human body and how it responds to exercise and disease? Genetics and Molecular Biology pathway

Genomic technology offers an unparalleled understanding of life on earth. Medical Biology pathway

A level : BBC - ABB

A Levels to include Biology/Applied Biology at grade C or above; two science A-levels are desirable which include Maths, Physics, Psychology, Geography, Sociology, Statistics (others) However those doing A level Biology and A levels in non-science subjects will be considered. We also count Bioscience Extended Project towards your total UCAS points. General Studies not accepted.
