Our BA International Relations degree will equip you with the knowledge to understand the responses to international political, economic and social challenges since the Second World War.If you choose to study our International Relations degree you’ll study politics in regional and global contexts, examine challenges to foreign policy decision making, and consider problems of security, conflict, international development and international politics of dynamic regions, including the ‘Global North’ and ‘South’.Our International Relations degree will develop your understanding surrounding the conflicts between states and their ability - or inability - to co-operate. If you are interested in going beyond the headlines on international affairs, this is the course for you.The BA (Hons) International Relations degree blends concepts with case studies to equip you with specific methods of analysis in international relations, the kind of analytical skills that employers value.Our International Relations degree offers you the opportunity to combine your studies with an elective (20 credits out of 120 per year) from a range including: Business Studies, Communication and Media Studies, Economics, French, Geography, German, History, Politics, Mandarin Chinese, Social Policy, Sociology, and Spanish.
