BA(Hons) English and History gives you a deep understanding of the relationship between historical contexts and literature. Become an expert reader of primary texts and an excellent writer, able to respond clearly to a broad range of issues. Develop your independent thinking, communication and critical thinking abilities - valuable assets in the workplace. Advance your skills in traditional and multimedia research and graduate highly employable and ready for a rewarding career or further study.Get involved in Bristol's vibrant and diverse cultural scene. We have strong links with Bristol Museums, Galleries and Archives (BMGA), including M Shed, Watershed, the Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust and the National Trust.
