Course Summary

Exploring crime scene science, toxicology, chemistry, and molecular biology, amongst other captivating subjects, this degree, designed to be one of the most modern and relevant of its kind, has been engineered to give you a broad understanding of the theory and practice of forensic science. You’ll be educated by professional practitioners and industry-seasoned guest speakers, in state-of-the art labs using cutting-edge equipment, plus you’ll get to participate in multiple field trips.You’ll pick subject modules that suit your own interests and career ambitions, and there’s an opportunity to complete a five or 30-week placement, which can be carried out anywhere in the world. Graduates can be expected to move on to work within industry areas such as forensic science, forensic and biomedical research, law enforcement and healthcare to name a few. The roles you can expect to move into include those as a Forensic Scientist, Lab Technician, Biological Scientist, Biochemist and more. 95% of our students are working or studying 6 months after graduating (Destination of Leavers of Higher Education, 2018).
