Course summary

A degree in Education Studies is ideal if you wish to pursue a career in education but are unsure which direction to take. Using the disciplines of psychology, sociology, philosophy and history, you will explore the transformational nature of education and reflect on your learning during placements in each year and optional overseas opportunities.You will examine ways in which knowledge, skills and attitudes are developed in children and adults in a variety of settings. You will see how external factors such as values, beliefs, culture and the environment can affect learning.
