**Overview**Do you want to turn your interest in exercise and fitness into a rewarding career?On this BSc (Hons) Exercise and Fitness Management degree course, you’ll build scientific understanding and managerial skills that’ll set you up as a professional in fitness management, personal training or nutrition. You'll also have the skills to work in sports event management and sports science or set up your own business in the health sector.**Endorsed by:**This course provides entry to the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs), which is endorsed by PD:Approval.**What you'll experience**On this degree course you’ll:- Develop knowledge in anatomy, physiology and management and specialise in areas that interest you most- Make the most of our gym and fitness studios and use specialist facilities such as our motion capture systems to evaluate the technique of exercise- Learn from industry experts and staff who are accredited by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs)- Have the opportunity to work with sports clubs and organise and market events in the local community such as the Great South Run- Develop your CV, by adding REPs professional qualifications alongside your studies**Careers and opportunities**When you finish the course, our Careers and Employability service can help you find a job or further training that puts your skills to work.**What can you do with an Exercise and Fitness Management degree?**You could work in areas such as:- NHS health work- personal training- health and fitness training and promotion- teaching and education- event managementThe business skills you will develop on this course also allow you to work in areas such as event management consultancy or set up your own business in the health sector.
