**Course Summary*** Prepare yourself with the visionary and practical skills necessary for a boundary-pushing fashion design career.* Learn through a variety of industry projects, seminars and placements all within a current industry context.Fashion design requires you to stay ahead of developing trends in aesthetics and technology. We emphasise innovation and collaboration through stimulating project briefs, assignments and presentations related to the latest developments in the industry to challenge and help define your design practice and identity. Time on the course will build your confidence to take creative risks, diversify your skillset while preparing you for a fulfilling career in fashion. The course will nurture you while building resilience and confidence to find your place within the design industry. Reflect on the emotions of your past, ethics and beliefs to empower the compulsion and drive to stamp your viewpoint on the world, reflecting on the past and to embrace the new. If you have the talent and ambition, this course can help you become a highly innovative designer within the fashion industry.**How you learn**This course is part of the Sheffield Institute of Arts — our creative community within Sheffield Hallam.You gain an understanding of what is expected from a future career in fashion design by taking part in a diverse range of activities.
