Course Summary

Our masters degree provides qualified practitioners, educators and managers with the knowledge and skills to meet the current and future demands of practice, research integration and policy drivers. This course is highly flexible and you can shape a portfolio of units from across the University to suit your career aspirations. Whichever health or social care setting you work in, some of the common skills you’ll use as an advanced practitioner include exercising clinical leadership, understanding and using research, supporting educational development, and developing clinical and practice management in the UK and international contexts. Through this course, you’ll explore these themes and build upon your existing knowledge and experience to enable you to lead and support the development and delivery of evidence‐based practice. As a graduate of Advanced Practice in Health and Social Care, you’ll have the skills to help you lead and support the development and delivery of evidence‐based practice. You’ll have the knowledge and understanding to develop your role as an advanced practitioner, including how to apply clinical leadership, support educational development, and develop clinical and practice management.

The tuition fee is £2417 per 30 credits studied per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study). Additional Cost may be applicable.
