Insurance Law is in the midst of an unprecedented phase of reform and redevelopment, with long-standing principles being amended by the courts and Parliament. The Law School is home to one of the UK’s leading research centres in this field, contributing to industry and government initiatives on insurance fraud, flood risk and the rise of ‘big data’. The LLM in Insurance Law offers the opportunity to study insurance in depth and to reflect on the interaction of insurance with aspects of personal life, business risk and international trade.
