Our four-year Business Management with Finance and Placement Year BSc (Hons) course follows the same first year as the three-year Business Management with Finance degree but also gives you the opportunity to graduate with a year’s paid work experience in industry and a Chartered Management Institute Diploma in Management and Leadership. Accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), this specialism provides a foundation in business and management, develops your practical and personal skills and prepares you for careers in the financial and broader business sector.
This course will prepare you for specialist roles in corporate finance, banking and the City, for example as a financial trader, insurance broker, investment analyst or investment banker. Recent graduates have joined roles in companies such as: ANZ, Service Consultant and Social Media Ambassador; Citi Group, Market Analyst; Hove Business Association, Membership Assistant; IM Global Group, Finance and Business Development; OSTC Brighton, Graduate Futures Trader; Marks & Spencer, Loyalty Planning Analyst; Waverton Investment Management, Operations (Trade Settlement & Fund Operations).
