This course is accredited by the Geological Society of London. Our accredited Physical Geography and Geology BSc (Hons) explores the diverse processes that regulate our planet, covering topics such as climate change, natural resources and the impact of geology on environmental management. You will also gain a wider and more critical knowledge of physical geography and geology through the study of Earth systems and human environment interactions.
Graduates are equipped with skills needed for careers in the water, extraction and construction industries, teaching, planning and promoting earth science heritage, environmental management and remediation of contaminated land. On successful completion of this course, you will qualify for admission to Fellowship of the Geological Society, and following a period of professional experience, for Chartered Geologist status.
