Our popular Construction Project Management degree is accredited by both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). You'll be educated to the highest industry standards, studying a range of tailored, industry-shaped modules that will develop your professional, technical and interpersonal skill set.Covering the same content as a standard undergraduate degree, the accelerated degree is taught over three trimesters rather than two semesters. This more intense mode of study means that you can complete your degree in a shorter period of time, so you progress more quickly into work or further study. If you choose to study Construction Project Management as a day-release accelerated degree, you will complete it in three years rather than five. Learning takes place in our Peel Park campus, just 2km from buzzing Manchester. Blending theory and practice using an action-based reflective learning approach, we’ll teach you to plan, organise and control construction operations. You’ll learn about regulations, procurement, and LEAN techniques. You’ll use management and planning software tools, such as BIM and CAD. Staying true to the collaborative nature of the construction industry, you’ll complete projects and problem-solving activities alongside other built environment students.
