INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS will provide you with fundamental knowledge about key issues which control international politics and current world issues. This aspect of the course will enable you to make critical and informed choices. The dynamic aspect of this joint honours course will help you to enhance your awareness of the different processes that shape our worlds in regards to complexity and connections. This course will introduce you to a wide and exciting range of fields in the public and private sectors. You'll broaden your skill base by developing links with influential organisations, learn how to make informed decisions and how these decisions then impact a range of levels. You'll be able to critically analyse media texts, enhance your communication skills and you'll develop high quality media production skills. This joint honours degree is taught through a range of lectures, workshops, and tutorials. You'll be assessed through a mixture of coursework essays, in class tests and examinations. Our recent graduates have gone on to work in exciting roles within a variety of organisations including, international aid agencies and the United Nations. Other students have followed career choices within journalism, marketing and public relations. 98% of our International Relations joint honours undergraduates are in work or other study within just six months of finishing their degree (DLHE 2016/17).
