Course Summary

In this course, create research that has an impact on emerging agendas in business, education and government. You will work with expert faculty who focus on the practical problems relevant to market practitioners and policy-makers. We develop innovative risk and pricing models that are used in the industry, most recently we have contributed to the improvement of the design and pricing of complex financial products. Our contributions have led to improvements in the risk management of popular financial innovations such as variance swaps. For an MPhil, your work is an independent piece of research but in less depth than for a PhD. You will graduate with the degree title Master of Philosophy. You might be able to change to a PhD while you study for an MPhil.
