Course Summary

The Graduate Diploma is an intensive, practically focussed, flexible programme of dance study, based on a ‘professional development’ model. Core elements of contemporary dance practice are offered within a broad and varied menu of options from which you can select areas of study according to your own needs and interests. This programme can be used as preparation for an application to a Masters degree. The Programme consists of (approximately) 1200 notional learning hours. The total number of contact hours varies according to the combination of components selected.

With opportunities to study across a wide range of subject areas, and with flexible routes of study, the Graduate Diploma in Dance appeals to and caters for, a wide range of individuals at different stages in their personal and professional development. Students on the Programme are part of a diverse community from a wide variety of backgrounds and training and with different types and levels of expertise and experience.
