Contemporary Art and Professional Studies combines studio-based practice with entrepreneurial-focused learning to provide a pathway into the multibillion-pound UK creative industries.

Applauded by external examiners for its cutting-edge approach to helping students refine their individual creative identity, this course is delivered by professional artists who will help you develop practical and academic skills so that you can position yourself professionally within the contemporary arts.

You'll be assessed through a combination of practical exams and coursework, with an assessment breakdown of 25% practical exams and 75% coursework. There are no written exams on this course.

Many graduates from this programme have progressed to the Honours Top-up in Contemporary Art and Professional Studies at UCW.

Graduates can also utilise the creative contacts they have made during their studies to launch freelance artistic enterprises.
