Psychology is the study of people – what they do, think, perceive and feel. It helps us to answer many important questions about society by applying scientific principles to human behaviour. As a student on the Psychology with Clinical Psychology and a Placement Year programme, you spend a year working with practising Psychologists. Our Psychology with Clinical Psychology and a Placement Year degree is especially suited to you if you're thinking about a career in the health or social services.Psychology with Clinical Psychology and a Placement Year is a four-year programme. It is the same as the three-year programme except that in the third year you do project work with professional applied psychologists in organisations such as the NHS, the Prison Service or a research establishment. Placements are subject to availability, and you have to meet the required academic standards in your first and second years in order to participate.
