If you want to improve your clinical skills this course will appeal to health professionals including nurses, physiotherapists, paramedics and many other disciplines to improve your learning, evidence based leadership, research and development. The course focuses on providing optimum outcomes for patients within multidisciplinary teams and the understanding of working across boundaries and human factors involved in complex cases and their management. You learn the necessary advanced clinical skills to enable you to become an advanced and confident practitioner in a clinical setting. The courses are aligned to the National Core Requirements for Advanced Practice.
You gain confidence in dealing with specialist and complex cases and you can progress to PGDip and MSc. The programme is delivered in partnership with NHS Grampian. From 2019 you can progress from this course to PgDip and MSc in year 3. As an advanced practitioner you are able to deal with more complex cases. The programme is delivered via blended learning which is a mix of online learning and on campus learning.
