Our Education and Professional Development BA(Hons) course is aimed at those working either within the education and training sector or related areas – including health, careers, and the uniformed services – who are keen to further their professional knowledge and skills. The course is predominantly delivered via an innovative ‘blended learning’ style, which combines face-to-face Saturday day schools and creative online activities with individual and collaborative study. This course will strengthen your confidence in critical debate and you’ll enterprise in leading ideas, developing the ability to influence policy. Your options for a future career or further study might include primary education, secondary education, adult education, learning support, community education, the voluntary sector and more.

For entry to first degree courses, we’re looking for people who have passes in five subjects from a combination of GCE Advanced Level (includes A Level and AS Level). We will consider the A level equivalency of your specific qualifications against our entry requirements and help you through every stage of the application process. For applicants whose first language is not English, we accept the English language tests like IELTS and TOEFL. They need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with no lower than 5.5 in any element, TOEFL iBT 87
