Course Summary

This Education Studies top up programme is designed specifically for those students interested in developing their current Level 5 qualification to a Level 6 full BA (Hons) degree. Focusing on various educational specialisms, the courses are designed with employability, enterprise and research at the fore. Students are expected to reflect throughout the programme on their current practice (voluntary or employed) whilst using theory and contemporary strategy to inform their professional pedagogy. Learning takes place in the classroom with a strong emphasis on debate, discussion and analysis of developments in the diverse world of education.
