Course Summary

From sustainability to the future of the high street, there are a range of issues that impact on the business of fashion, both now and in the future. You will graduate from this programme having the confidence to shape the future of this fast-moving industry. The programme brings together practical and theoretical applications of areas such as marketing, trend analysis and creative visual presentation methods - increasing your digital fluency.Throughout the three-year course you will be developing your knowledge, ideas and application of a sustainable future for the industry in a local and global context. The final module of the programme focuses on a personal project, allowing you to build on your knowledge and experience and to help you to develop your career portfolio.You will:Discover how the business and promotion side of the fashion industry worksLearn how to shape the future of the industryExplore a range of issues, including sustainability and the future of shoppingIn your first year you will analyse the customer journey and the role that bloggers, vloggers and influencers play in the success of a brand. In your second year you will investigate the future of shopping and the vital role of fashion media. In this second year you will also prepare a personal business project and undertake live industry projects or work placement opportunities. In your third year you will apply your understanding of e-marketing and branding strategies and focus on a personal project.
