Course summary

Accountancy isn't just about being good at numbers. It’s about being able to analyse and interpret information, spot trends, identify issues and opportunities, and communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. This multidisciplinary degree examines a range of issues from both an accounting and a business perspective, as well as exploring the interrelationships between the professions of accountancy and management.

This BA Accounting and Management programme combines two key areas of business to prepare you for a successful future career. This course offers the opportunity to apply for credit for prior learning from three major accounting bodies: ICAEW, ACCA and CIMA.

Career

A degree from Henley Business School is respected internationally and can provide a route into many areas, including accounting and professional services, banking, consultancy, finance, human resources, IT, investment banking, marketing, operations and, of course, general management. We recognise that undergraduate study is an important investment in your future career, and we are therefore very proud of our outstanding graduate employment record, reflected in our consistently strong performance in the university league tables.

Many of our courses provide exemptions and/or credit for prior learning from professional bodies including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
