At Edge Hill University, we believe in an integrated approach. Studying our integrated Masters, you’ll learn how nursing and social work go hand-in-hand, and graduate with eligibility for two professional awards. Our teaching is delivered alongside our partners in the Cheshire & Merseyside Social Work Teaching Partnership. Learn to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Gain confidence with practical experience. Explore health, social care, education and other related areas. Becoming familiar with the factors that influence health and wellbeing will also be key. You’ll explore issues surrounding social justice, structural inequality, anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice. If you’re committed to becoming an integrated practitioner and want to develop to understand the perspectives of service users, their families, and carers, then this course is a great match for you. An approved degree On successfully graduating from this course at Edge Hill, you’ll be eligible to register as a qualified adult nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will also be able to apply to register with Social Work England to practice as a social worker.
