Work on live briefs and hone your art and digital skills with our high-tech kit and facilities, creating films that will launch your career. We'll support you to develop original imaginative stories, master directing and producing techniques, learn the patience of stop motion and the complexity of rigging and modelling. Working in teams, you'll play in 2D and 3D, in physical clay and the digital world, to produce films that make a mark. You’ll also get the latest industry insights through our unrivalled guest lecture series. You will:Study as part of a CILECT film school Learn from industry practicing professionals and mentors Collaborate with peers across the university on creative projects Work in multi-skilled teams, reflecting industry practice Hone your skills in stop motion and Computer Generated (CG) animation Underpin your creative work with theoretical and historical understanding Gain a working knowledge of industry practice Create in professional-standard facilities Graduate with a varied and professional portfolio Joining our Animation degree, you'll build your real-world abilities, learn to think creatively and produce a range of animations.
