Course summary

Turn your passion for animals into your career. You’ll gain experience working as part of inter-disciplinary teams in our commercial canine and equine therapy centres on campus. You’ll also develop your knowledge and skills in our laboratories and benefit from access to over 70 animal species on site. This course is ideal for those who have an interest in animal therapy as part of veterinary medicine. You’ll apply theory to practice whilst gaining essential industry experience through a work placement, ready for your career. You’ll be at the forefront of industry research, whilst uncovering new knowledge through your own research project on an agreed topic that fascinates you. The course will equip you with a range of scientific animal therapy skills to prepare you for your next exciting step. Recent graduate destinations have included roles in animal therapy, nutrition, scientific laboratories, education and postgraduate study in animal physiotherapy.
