Our Applied Biology BSc(Hons) degree combines core topics in Biological Sciences with hands-on opportunities to explore how biological knowledge, underpinning principles, modern experimental approaches, AI, and ethical values are applied to solve real-world problems and support a sustainable future. You’ll learn how biology contributes to tackling global challenges, from biomedicine to climate change. On this exciting course, you’ll work with staff who bring expertise from across biosciences and use specialist, state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
