This integrated PhD course in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching is ideal for all those looking to either establish and design English language teaching programmes, teach English as a second language, or continue an academic career in language and linguistics education.The IPhD in Applied Linguistics/ELT offers a new route towards a doctorate by incorporating both taught elements and independent doctoral research. Students will gain insights into state-of-the-art knowledge in Applied Linguistics with a focus on English Language Teaching and the relevant research methods through the taught elements of this degree.
