MSc Applied Sport Performance Analysis degree offers you an excellent platform to develop the advanced knowledge and skills required to analyse and develop performance in elite sport.Created in collaboration with industry experts, with high-quality teaching delivered by applied practitioners and world-renowned research active academics.The programme focuses on the science, workflows, and applied practice of performance analysis and how it interacts with and supports the coaching and decision-making process in elite sport.You will have access to market-leading performance analysis hardware and software, used in professional sports organisations, from partners such as HUDL.The programme will challenge you to develop your understanding of sports analytics and visualization, how to create effective learning environments, the role of high-performance cultures in sport and provide you with tailored support to maximise your development.As part of the programme, you will immerse yourself in a performance analysis placement to develop and test your skills in an applied setting and enhance your future career prospects.Our students have enjoyed placement opportunities with Premier League and Football League teams, Premiership Rugby teams, County Cricket clubs, Loughborough Lightning franchises and other organisations in elite sport.The programme culminates with an independent research project, enabling you to apply the knowledge and techniques you have learned to answer an applied sport performance analysis question.The programme is ideal for students aspiring to work in elite sport supporting athlete development, overall team performance and the identification and recruitment of athletes in high profile sport organisations.
