Our Architectural Technology (including foundation year) BSc is a four-year course, designed to prepare you for a career as an architectural technologist. Learn essential study skills in your first year, then apply those skills over the next three years to become a knowledgeable and versatile architectural technologist.

Go from potential to professional. The first-year modules are designed to form a solid foundation for your entire degree program, where you will develop key academic skills such as problem-solving, presentation and communication, digital literacy and application of mathematics in the context of the Built Environment discipline.

Look beyond the foundations. On this course you will learn how to assess building structures, systems, materials and components. Through a variety of practical, hands-on experiences, you will become proficient in the vast array of techniques, processes and solutions that are required in the design and planning process of modern construction projects.
