Studying biology at Leeds will provide you with the skills and knowledge to have a real-world impact on key global challenges.Our accredited broad-based degree will provide you with an understanding across the breadth of the biology, including everything from genetics to zoology and evolution to ecology.Taught by experts in the field, you’ll build a broad foundation in your first year, studying core modules in organismal biology, genetics and molecular cell biology.As you progress through your degree you will have the choice and flexibility to tailor your degree choosing from a wide range of optional modules including; human biology, animal behaviour, conservation, immunology, microbiology, population genetics, bioinformatics, genetic engineering and many more.Our integrated Masters offers you an additional year of specialist training in biosciences and an extended research project.**Course highlights:**- You’ll have the flexibility to tailor your studies through our wide range of optional modules.- Enhance your studies and employability by undertaking a placement year or study year abroad.- Practical field trips will help you to develop practical skills in varied habitats.
