Course summary
Biomedical science studies the human body and diseases. It also studies how to treat them. Molecular science studies molecules and their interactions. Together, biomedical and molecular sciences study living things to understand how they work. They look at cells, genes, and molecules to find out how they affect health and disease. They also help develop new medicines, therapies, and diagnostic tools. Business studies cover advanced topics to enhance your managerial and strategic skills. These include leadership, finance, entrepreneurship and marketing skills. This master's course focuses on key areas in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. It will help prepare you for a future in these industries. You'll gain knowledge and skills that employers are looking for. This includes understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms of a range of diseases. This can help develop better ways of diagnosing and treating disease. It also includes key business skills. You'll carry out a bio-business research project. This allows you to apply what you learn to a real-life project. This will let you focus your business ideas on a bioscience research development. You'll work alongside world-leading researchers and academics from both the School of Life Sciences and the School of Business.
