The overall aim of the AU BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance with Foundation Year is to enable students to acquire knowledge, understanding and a range of practical skills relating to key and inter-connected accounting disciplines applicable to a range of commercial and non-commercial sectors, local, national and global, and in a variety of geographical and cultural settings. Simultaneously students will develop a range of transferrable skills that will assist them in as they pursue their careers or further relevant study.

GCSE/National 4/National 5 : C
Passes at grade C (grade 4) or above in three subjects at GCSE level OR 45 credits at Level 2 or equivalent – if your qualifications are older than 3 years we would also ask to see a professional CV. For applicants whose first language is not English, we accept a variety of English language tests IELTS and IELTS Indicator (International English Language Testing System - academic version) with 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill and they are listed on our?International Entry Requirements page.
