Course summary

This degree apprenticeship will help you to become a highly skilled construction site manager and develop your initiative and problem-solving abilities.

Through a blend of classroom and work-based learning, this apprenticeship will equip you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours that will equip you to succeed as a construction site manager.

Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), this apprenticeship enables you to be a paid employee while completing your studies. At the end of your apprenticeship, as part of your end-point assessment, you will be independently assessed to become a chartered member of the CIOB.

This programme is Level 6 and mapped to the construction site management degree apprenticeship standard.

To be eligible, you must be employed in an appropriate position during the entire degree apprenticeship programme, including your end-point assessment.

How you will learn

Teaching

Learning takes place through a combination of timetabled learning and independent study.

You can view more information about how each module is taught within our 'What you will study' section.

Seminars and workshops enable you to discuss and develop your understanding of topics covered in lectures in smaller groups. You will also be able to meet your personal tutor. Timetabled learning may fall between 9am and 9pm depending on your courses and tutorials.
