Accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and developed in consultation with industry, you’ll be educated to the highest professional standards.Through this course, led by international experts, you’ll gain a comprehensive knowledge base. You’ll learn about the construction industry and its legal and regulatory framework. You’ll explore the relationship between a building and its internal and external environments. You’ll recognise how to diagnose problems with existing buildings and be aware of conservation and regeneration.Covering the same content as a standard undergraduate degree, the accelerated degree is taught over three trimesters rather than two semesters. This more intense mode of study means that you can complete your degree in a shorter period of time, so you progress more quickly into work or further study. If you choose to study Building Surveying as a full-time accelerated degree, you will complete it in two years rather than three.
