With the advent of ‘big data’ and rapidly increasing automation of jobs, analytics is used all around us. The World Economic Forum predicts that data analytics will be the main driver of what is called the fourth industrial revolution, impacting all sectors of the economy. The Loughborough BSc Business Analytics gives you a thorough understanding of the main opportunities and challenges brought by data driven, evidence-based decision making in various types of organisations and industries, and helps you understand how to integrate this knowledge with general business and management skills. Our BSc Business Analytics course will equip you with sought-after skills for a variety of career paths with critical levels of responsibility. At Loughborough we excel at teaching quantitative skills and decision sciences, thus we emphasise management science methods, data analysis and performance evaluation, forecasting and simulation, computer programming, and using databases for analytics.
