This is a four-year version of our popular BA (Hons) Business and Human Resource Management course, with an integrated foundation year. Study a course highly relevant to the workplace. Focus on skills and knowledge needed for the Human Resources function in modern organisations. Undertake a year-long placement and put your learning into practice.In the first year – the foundation year – you will study 4 modules; a subject-related module, a numeracy skills module, a study skills-related module called 'Succeeding at University and Beyond' and a foundation project module. After completion of this foundation year, you will then move onto the related honours degree course. BA (Hons) Business and Human Resource Management with Integrated Foundation Year is highly relevant to the workplace and it is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Compared to the core Business and Management course, it has a greater focus on the skills and knowledge needed for the Human Resources function in modern organisations.Sunderland is one of the first universities in the UK to introduce employability modules across all years of an undergraduate degree.
