Our combined Business and Management and Economics degree has been designed to give you an in-depth knowledge and understanding of business and economics, while developing practical and professional skills that you can apply to a wide range of industries and careers.You’ll explore the economic concepts that shape our world, and learn to view current events through a different lens.This business and economics course aims to incorporate modern approaches to the field of economics, amplifying the voices of those who have traditionally been excluded from economic decision-making based on race, gender or ethnicity. You’ll gain a contemporary perspective through a range of reading materials, videos and case studies.This optional placement year provides you with the opportunity to identify, apply for and secure professional experience, normally comprising one to three placements over a minimum of nine months. Successful completion of this module will demonstrate your ability to secure and sustain graduate-level employment.
