Course Summary Launch your career in business with the University of the West of Scotland’s BA (Hons) Business degree. Programme Highlights The recently revised BA (Hons) Business programme follows the University’s new Curriculum Framework and Strategy for Teaching and Learning. Interactive on-campus teaching using real-life or realistic business cases that deepen your understanding of how businesses and other organisations operate is combined with a robust virtual learning environment platform that is rich with additional study resources and promotes interactions among learners. Whether your aim is to start and run your own business or to work for leading national and international organisations, the BA (Hons) Business programme will open up endless opportunities for you. This programme has been developed in partnership with business and industry leaders to ensure you graduate with the desired skills and experience that employers are looking for. It combines a broad base of learning, with the flexibility to tailor your degree in subsequent years to align with your own interests and career goals. Programme Details From business and organisational theory, to marketing, strategy, and operational and industry-related issues, UWS’s BA (Hons) Business programme covers a wide range of topics – providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the business world and its realities. The programme’s core module skills are designed in line with graduate trainee programme entry requirements to give you a head start for a career in national and international organisations. Careers This programme will prepare you for entry to graduate management programmes (postgraduate study), as well as careers in national and international public, private and voluntary organisations.
