In Business Management, you will gain a wide perspective and thorough grounding in all areas of business, including accountancy and statistics. Your knowledge will develop in the dynamic, international environment of our Business School of over 40 nationalities, in small classes, taught by leaders in the fields of business practice and theory, corporate finance, and organisational change, and supported by dedicated careers advisers.English at Aberdeen gives you all the advantages of learning in a creative hub, rated second in the UK for the quality of its research. You will study poetry and prose through considering the dynamic relationship between author, reader and literary text and will study every period from the middle ages to contemporary English, Scottish, Irish, European and American writing. You will examine the cultural and critical impact of powerful and controversial modern works and will be encouraged to develop your own creative writing skills. You will add to your business competence with core writing, research, technical and presentation skills to open up a wide variety of careers as diverse as publishing, journalism, or any sector of business from large multinational blue-chips to small and medium-sized enterprises in all sectors.
