Business Management (Top-up) BA (Hons)

This course has been developed in conjunction with employers to ensure it meets the demands of industry. The aim is to equip you with the skills, knowledge and experience to embark on a successful career at a managerial level within a range of sectors. As part of the course you will develop your business acumen as well as professional skills such as communication and analytical skills to help you take a strategic view of management in organisations. You will consider the factors that drive firms to develop and grow, the challenges of managing people, the impact of digital technologies as well as the promotion of ethical standards. Guest lectures from employers will provide industry expertise to enrich your learning experience. You may wish to enhance your career prospects by securing a voluntary work placement. This is not a mandatory requirement of the course but is recommended to help you gain valuable work experienceThe course provides an ideal platform for you to secure employment on an appropriate graduate scheme on completion of your studies. You may also wish to progress to study an appropriate Masters degree or pursue a career in teaching via PGCE qualification.
