Course summary

If you are finding it hard to decide between two subjects you enjoy, you could tailor your degree with a combined honours course. Variety, flexibility and a chance to maximise your employability are just some of the advantages on offer when you choose to study a combined honours degree. And Canterbury Christ Church University offers one of the widest selection of combined honours degrees in the UK.**Business Management**Get the skills you need to become a confident business manager. Good business management is at the centre of every successful organisation. Our degree allows you to build your knowledge and understanding of organisations and how they are managed. You'll study fundamental areas of business, finance, HR, marketing and operations, and the macro and micro environments in which they operate including cultural, social and ethical issues. You'll have opportunities to examine real-life organisational problems by making the most of the strong links between Christ Church Business School and a wide range of local, regional and national organisations.**Early Childhood Studies**The development and growth of children during their early childhood is extraordinary as they grow from babies, completely dependent on care, to children able to act for themselves. This course explores the extraordinary time in children's lives from before birth to approximately eight years old. We examine the factors and experiences that shape their early development and growth. We look at early childhood from a range of perspectives - including psychology, education, health, sociology, law and science - so that you will be well placed to act as an advocate for young children within a range of professional disciplines upon graduation. As part of the course our students are offered opportunities to consider cultural differences in early childhood development. They are also offered practice-based experiences so they can observe in practice how professionals can impact on how young children develop and grow.
