Course summary

This degree will ensure that you understand business and how they operate within the global environment. You will acquire the skills to become an effective people manager and put these into practice through industry aligned projects.People are the lifeblood of any organisation. c lead teams and create high performing work environments. You will develop an in-depth understanding of the responsible management of workers within multinational companies and the impact of international regulation on HRM policy and practice.During your first year you will study core modules that will help build the foundation of your knowledge. You will start to build your leadership capabilities and develop an understanding of the global businesS environment, organisational culture, business growth, marketing and enterprise.During your second and final year you will develop your strategic management skills and specialist HR knowledge. There will be opportunities to work with businesses on strategic initiatives, develop your understanding of financial decision making and, as well as operations management and sustainable business.Relationships are at the heart of our programme and we will work closely with local businesses to ensure you have up-to-date knowledge and a solid network of professional contacts upon graduation.
