Examples of potential careers could include:Academic research and/or lecturing in a university, research institution, or other higher education setting.Developing new therapies or intellectual property in National Healthcare systems and pharmaceutical industry or other biomedicine-related business venture.Conducting clinical trials as part of a team of clinicians, scientists and allied health professionals.Monitoring and analysing the results of clinical trials as part of a clinical trials unit.Graduates of the programme have gone on to leadership roles in the NHS and other healthcare organisations in the UK and overseas.
