CENTRAL & EAST EUROPEAN STUDIES:

- You will study the history, economics, politics and sociology of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The University is a hub for a government-funded Centre of Excellence for Russian, Central & East European Studies, which hosts cultural, social and academic events throughout the year.


ITALIAN:

- Studying Italian opens up the language and culture of a major EU country that has played a key role in Europe’s political and artistic development. Glasgow has a long tradition of teaching in Italian studies, supported by excellent library resources in the subject. You will be taught in small groups, mostly by native speakers of Italian, giving you the opportunity to develop a high level of fluency in written and spoken Italian.
