We have a number of advanced chemical engineering facilities to enhance your studies. Our modern Pilot Chemical Laboratory contains 15 pilot-scale rigs which cover a wide range of unit operations. Other state-of-the-art facilities you may work with include atomic force microscopy, fermentation rigs, surface plasmon resonance and hydrodynamic shear adhesion assays. You will also benefit from a dynamic research environment where pioneering Swansea academics are leading the way in areas such as advanced water treatment technologies.Our Chemical Engineering graduates are set on course for a range of exciting employment opportunities including: Chemical Engineer, Energy Engineer, Petroleum Engineer, Product/Process Development Scientist , Mining Engineer, Technical Plant Manager, Applications Engineer and Wellsite Drilling Engineer.
