Overview

The MSc Chemical Engineering course provides the additional training companies now expect from the next generation of chemical engineers, producing employable graduates with the potential to be future leaders of industry.

Most applicants have an engineering first degree, and the most common include environmental or chemical engineering. Based on the options selected, you will gain experience in areas such as chemical and petroleum processing, energy efficiency, carbon capture and water treatment.

The course offers students with BEng and BSc engineering access to an accredited masters level degrees, required to be eligible for Chartered Engineer status.

This course equips students with a solid understanding of existing and emerging technologies, advanced design skills and strong skills in research, problem solving and project management, now demanded by employers for the development of chemical processes and products.
