Chemical Engineering with Foundation Year MEng (Hons)

This one-year full-time course is integrated with a further three- or four- or five-year undergraduate degree, and will equip you with the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to successfully meet the challenges of our BEng and MEng Chemical Engineering degrees.It is aimed at those who are highly motivated, with an A level or equivalent in Chemistry, but who lack a qualification equivalent to A level Mathematics required for entry onto these degrees. You will study full time through a combination of lectures, workshops, tutorials, and independent study, with three hours of laboratory practical work each week.(Applicants with an A level or equivalent in Mathematics who have not studied Chemistry to A level standard should apply to our Science Foundation Year.)It is also possible to add an Industrial Placement Year to the BEng or MEng with Foundation Year*.*MEng degrees with Industrial Placement Year may not available to students who require a Student Visa
