Course summary
On our BSc Children’s Nursing, you’ll develop the expert knowledge and advanced practical skills to provide excellent care for children, young people and their families. Our unique programme highlights the vital importance of community and primary care in nursing, as well as the importance of placing equal value on both the physical and mental health of children.You will study subjects across nursing, as well as specific modules on children’s nursing. You’ll learn the importance of person-centred care, the principles of caring for children and young people, and understand how to provide complex and critical care for children. With a focus on community and primary care, you will learn how to deliver care in a wide variety of settings, including GPs' practices, schools and outreach work.
