The Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering with a Foundation Year course is primarily for candidates who have not studied the prerequisite subjects needed for first-year entry, or have not met their expected entrance requirements due to adverse situations, or due to previous sporting commitments, as well as mature students returning to education or care leavers.Loughborough University's Foundation Studies program is designed to help a diverse range of students realise their university ambitions. The streamed approach allows students to progress onto one of several courses within their chosen stream, giving them additional time to decide which course is best suited to them.
