Our Clinical and Health Psychology degree is accredited by the British Psychological Society, and so is your first step towards becoming a chartered psychologist working in areas such as Clinical and Health psychology. Clinical Psychologists and Health Psychologists apply psychological knowledge and skills in clinical and community settings. They contribute to the prevention of illness and the promotion of health and wellbeing. They design and implement interventions to improve the mental and physical health outcomes as well as helping to shape the policies and systems which affect healthcare.Within your degree you will explore a range of theory and knowledge to underpin your understanding of the role of psychology in physical and mental health settings. The course takes an applied perspective, allowing you to explore the role of psychological practitioners working in a range of healthcare settings and discover how psychology is applied to address a range of health and wellbeing challenges.
